Restore Volume. Enhance Your Features. Look Like a Refreshed Version of You.
As we age — or simply through genetics — our face can lose volume in the cheeks, lips, and jawline, leading to a tired or sunken appearance. Injectable dermal fillers restore that volume instantly, with no surgery and virtually no downtime.

Facials fillers or dermal fillers are injectable gels — most commonly made from hyaluronic acid, a substance your body produces naturally — that add volume beneath the skin’s surface. Unlike Botox, which relaxes muscles to soften movement-based wrinkles, fillers physically restore lost volume or enhance natural contours.
Results are immediate, require no surgery, and typically last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years depending on the product and treatment area.
This is the most common question we get — and one most medspa websites don’t actually answer clearly.
Many patients benefit from both — for example, Botox in the forehead paired with filler in the cheeks for a fully balanced, refreshed look. We’ll help you figure out exactly what your face needs at your consultation, with zero pressure to “do more” than necessary.
Personalized, not templated. Every face is different. We assess your bone structure, skin, and goals before recommending a specific product or amount — we don’t push a standard syringe count on everyone.
Owner-administered care. Amy and Joi built this practice so you always know who’s treating you. No new-injector roulette.
Natural-first philosophy. Our goal is balance and subtlety — filler that enhances your features without looking “done.”
Local convenience. No need to drive to Gainesville for quality filler work — we’re right here in Alachua on US Hwy 441.
Pricing depends on the product used and the number of syringes needed to achieve your goals:
We’ll confirm your exact product recommendation and pricing at your consultation — we never quote sight-unseen. Ask about current specials and membership pricing for ongoing maintenance.
Does filler hurt?
Most patients tolerate it well thanks to topical numbing and lidocaine in the filler itself. Mild pressure or pinching is normal.
How long does filler last?
This depends on the product and area — lips typically need touch-ups every 6–9 months, while cheek and jawline filler can last 12–18 months or longer.
Is there downtime?
Minimal. Some swelling or mild bruising is possible for a few days, but most patients return to normal activities immediately.
Can filler be reversed?
Yes — hyaluronic acid fillers (the type we use) can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if you’re ever unhappy with results.
Will my lips/face look fake or overdone?
Not at Ultimate Medspa. We build conservatively and let you decide if you want more at a follow-up — it’s much easier to add filler than to walk back an overfilled look.
What’s the difference between lip filler and a lip flip?
Lip filler adds volume to the lips themselves. A “lip flip” uses a small amount of Botox to subtly roll the upper lip outward — no added volume, just a fuller-looking pout. We offer both and can help you decide which fits your goals.
Can I combine filler with Botox in the same visit?
Yes — many patients do both in a single appointment for a complete refresh.
