Firmer Skin. Visible Lift. Results That Look Like You — Just Refreshed.
Our Skin Tightening treatment focuses on stimulating your body’s natural collagen and elastin production to restore structure and tone to lax or crepey skin. This non-surgical procedure uses controlled energy — RF (radiofrequency), ultrasound, or laser technology — to heat the deeper layers of the skin, triggering a remodeling process that tightens and lifts from within.
Not sure which area fits your goals? That’s exactly what your consultation is for — we’ll map a plan based on your skin, your anatomy, and your timeline.
Skin Tightening is a category of non-invasive or minimally invasive treatments that use controlled energy — most commonly radiofrequency (RF), focused ultrasound (like Ultherapy), or laser energy — to heat the deeper layers of the skin without damaging the surface. That targeted heat does two things: it causes an immediate contraction of existing collagen fibers (which creates an instant subtle tightening effect) and it triggers a wound-healing response that stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin over the following weeks and months.
As we age, collagen production slows and existing collagen breaks down, which is why skin starts to lose its structure and sag. Skin tightening treatments essentially reactivate that rebuilding process, helping the skin gradually become firmer, smoother, and more resilient.
This is not a filler, and it’s not Botox®. It doesn’t add volume, and it doesn’t relax muscle movement — it works on the foundational structure of the skin itself, which is why it’s ideal for patients dealing with laxity and looseness rather than expression lines or volume loss.
Most patients begin to see improvement within 4–8 weeks as collagen remodeling takes effect, with continued improvement up to 3–6 months after treatment. Results vary based on the technology used, the treatment area, and your skin’s baseline condition — which is why a proper assessment matters before any treatment begins.
Owner-administered care. You’re not handed off to rotating staff. Amy Ritch and Joi Bass, APRN, built this practice in Alachua specifically so patients get consistent, accountable care — the same hands, visit after visit.
Technology matched to your skin. Not every skin tightening device is right for every patient. We assess your skin’s thickness, laxity, and goals to recommend the right energy modality for your specific needs — not just whatever machine is available.
Local, not commuted. You don’t have to drive into Gainesville for quality aesthetic care. We’re right here on US Hwy 441 in Alachua.
Transparent from the first visit. We’ll walk you through expected sessions, realistic timelines, and cost before you commit to anything — no surprise pricing, no upsell pressure.
Skin tightening pricing depends on the technology used, the size of the treatment area, and the number of sessions recommended. As a general guide:
Your exact treatment plan and pricing will be confirmed at your consultation — we never quote blindly without assessing your skin first. Ask us about current specials and membership pricing for ongoing treatments.
Does skin tightening hurt?
Most patients describe a warm, sometimes deep heating sensation during treatment. Discomfort levels vary by device and treatment area — we’ll always discuss what to expect for your specific treatment beforehand.
When will I see results?
Some patients notice a subtle immediate effect from collagen fiber contraction. The primary results develop gradually over 4–8 weeks as the body builds new collagen, with continued improvement up to 3–6 months post-treatment.
How long do skin tightening results last?
Results typically last 1–2 years, depending on the treatment, the area, and your skin’s natural aging process. Maintenance sessions help sustain your results over time.
Is skin tightening safe?
Yes — when performed by a trained provider using FDA-cleared technology, skin tightening is a safe, well-established treatment. Our team will assess whether you’re a good candidate and discuss any contraindications during your consultation.
Will I look “done” or unnatural?
Not at Ultimate Medspa. Skin tightening produces gradual, progressive results — people are more likely to notice that you look refreshed or well-rested, not that you’ve had a procedure.
Who is a good candidate for skin tightening?
Ideal candidates are adults experiencing mild to moderate skin laxity who want visible improvement without surgery. It’s not a replacement for a surgical facelift but can deliver meaningful results for the right patient — we’ll assess this honestly during your consultation.
How does skin tightening differ from Botox® or fillers?
Botox® treats movement-based wrinkles by relaxing muscle activity. Fillers restore lost volume. Skin tightening addresses structural laxity — loose, sagging, or crepey skin. Many patients benefit from a combination of all three. We’ll guide you to the right approach during your consultation.
How many sessions will I need?
This depends on the device, the treatment area, and your starting point. Some treatments deliver meaningful results in a single session; others work best as a series. We’ll give you an honest recommendation at your consultation.
